URI in partnership with RIPTA, US Marshall Service, RI State Police, Lights & Sirens International & Esperanza-Hope will host its Annual Toy Drive Virtually due to Covid-19 restrictions. Alumni, students season tickets holders and fans have 3 ways to support this year's event:
1.) Make a monetary donation through www.esperanzahopeus.org or www.lightsandsirensinternational.org and the non-profit organizations will purchase items for local families in need.
2.) RI State Police will accept toy donations at their headquarters warehouse:
311 Danielson Pike, North Scituate, RI 02857
3.) US Marshall Service will also accept toys & games donations @ it's downtown location after screening them in a Federal Building:
2 Exchange Terrace, Providence, RI 02903
The two law enforcement agencies will ONLY ACCEPT these items per the instructions by the Department of Health & CDC due to the pandemic: See Below Flyer
2020 has impacted all of us in many ways but let's keep the spirit of giving to those that are less fortunate this Holiday Season.
