Lights & Sirens International completed its Annual Adopt-A-Family for Christmas Deliveries this weekend in partnership with Esperanza-Hope. 2020 has been a crazy year with the global pandemic and economic impact that has impacted everyone.
We have been truly blessed to end the holiday season with support from all of the individuals, institutions, corporations and businesses that believe in giving to those less fortunate. Without you, none of this is possible and we so appreciate your trust in supporting our community.
Lights & Sirens International is a non-profit organization that’s brought together cops and the community like never before. We learn how the game of bocce is and sportsmanship is playing a role to strengthen the bond between law enforcement and local youth.

Part of a four week long series, Lights and Sirens International has been working to bridge the gap with teens. Cops and teens met on Federal Hill for a game of Bocce while talking about some serious issues. The two groups meet and use a socially distant game of Bocce to discuss issues that can cause friction between the police and the community. Two way conversations lead to discussing topics like violence, and profiling, among other issues communities face.

Lights and Sirens International was joined by Officer Thiago Gomes in an interview with NBC 10 Providence to discuss the 2020 Vacation with a Purpose, missionary work in the Dominican Republic, and how our partnership is giving back to communities in our great state. Special thank you to NBC 10 Providence and Officer Gomes for the opportunity to share some of our work with the community. "Together, We Can".
The Lights and Sirens International Vacation with a Purpose is an annual event that fully embodies our mission: to support and develop children in both domestic and international communities through education, health, sports, and cultural exposure. The LSI team, along with our partners and volunteers from the community, travel to different locations throughout the Dominican Republic to distribute healthcare supplies, toys, books, school supplies, sports equipment, and more to those who need them most. The LSI Vacation with a Purpose Basketball Tournament is in its 11th year and growing participation in the tournament has allowed us to expand our missionary work and reach more of those in need.
URI Athletics in partnership with RIPTA, Lights & Sirens International and Esperanza-Hope is hosting its 5th Annual Toy Drive this season. Fans are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to the game for children in need this holiday season.
