Lights & Sirens International is a non-profit organization that’s brought together cops and the community like never before. We learn about the game of bocce and sportsmanship, playing a role to strengthen the bond between law enforcement and local youth.
Part of a four week long series, Lights and Sirens International has been working to bridge the gap with teens. Cops and teens met on Federal Hill for a game of Bocce while talking about some serious issues. The two groups meet and use a socially distant game of Bocce to discuss issues that can cause friction between the police and the community. Two way conversations lead to discussing topics like violence, and profiling, among other issues communities face.
